Responsible for researching and identifying the primary legislative and policy priorities of the Texas chapter in coordination with the Texas Executive Director, National Legislative Director and Texas Local Committee. Serves as representative of Emgage Texas in Austin during legislative session and maintains contact with elected officials throughout the state year round. Coordinates and assists with other Texas chapter initiatives as necessary.

Ability to work alone or as part of a team; Knowledge of basic office management procedures; Public speaking experience; Experience with EveryAction and/or Canva software.
Position can be full time or part-time; competitive salary commensurate with experience offered. Future growth opportunities with Emgage Texas and Emgage national organization also possible based on performance and availability. Position requires travel across Austin and frequently to the Texas Capitol (must have own transportation) and work on weekends and holidays. Position will be based in Austin.
